With degrees in Aviation Management and Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and over twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, Joaquin has dedicated his career in aviation to creating solutions using cutting edge technology to drive efficiency in the operations he has worked with. With extensive experience in the function and technical needs of companies like MRO’s, component repair stations, airlines, leasing companies, and parts brokers, he is the leading visionary behind the Nubilum Aviation Management Platform. 

The quintessential Renaissance Man, Joaquin’s experience within the aviation industry has allowed him to gain a complex understanding of the intricacies that dictate aviation’s day-to-day operations – he has played the role of mechanic, engineer, and most recently, Director of IT. As the IT Director at various airlines and repair stations, Joaquin worked closely with all departments in the operation and gained a deep understanding of each piece of software in use by those departments, allowing him to identify their shortcomings. These software packages (all of which still exist today) not only cause frustration for the people using them but make operations less productive while also increasing the training costs for those operations. These experiences led Joaquin to realize the acute demand for a single software platform that unifies all departments in an operation.

Joaquin’s philosophy is simple: create unique solutions that cater to the needs of his clients. Able to approach issues from different perspectives, Joaquin calls upon his experience in all facets of aviation to create a software that addresses the many different needs within the aviation industry, creating a solution that works symbiotically with other platforms while also enabling clients to have the ability to customize the software to meet their unique requirements.
